Speyer is continuing to develop Long Island City. Introducing a three building residential development in the fall, future tenants and LIC deputies are beyond excited. The complex has a variety of different amenities and is based on Jackson Avenue. As a result, it was only appropriate to name the 1.6 acre park in the middle of the buildings, Jackson Park. The three buildings will have over 1,800 apartments which will be the equivalent of over 120 thousand square-feet. The buildings will be 53,44, and 42 stories high.
To attract a variety of different lifestyles, Speyer has designed a couple of different types of apartments. The many floor plans vary in size and layout. The complex will take up a whole city block which will include the three apartment buildings, a park, an indoor pool, and clubhouse with many different amenities accessible underground from all three complexes. The 5 story amenities complex will span over 45,000 square-feet.
The real estate investment firm is expecting Jackson Park to become one of the most popular addresses and “hot spots” in all of LIC. The city is currently developing quickly and Speyer is a large contributor to that development in multiple areas of the city. Across the street, Speyer is developing a two building office and retail space. Due to their contributions, LIC was ranked in the top 50 cities that were being exponentially developed. Long Island City was ranked right before Downtown Los Angeles.
In addition to their elaborate plans, Speyer will be including restaurants, a coffee shop, gyms and fitness centers, a gourmet market, and a food hall at Jackson Park. Coming this fall, Speyer will begin leasing. Thus, tenants should be moving into the new LIC “hot spot” at the end of 2017.
